Whipped Dogs was one of the most ambitious projects I undertook during my time at UC. The assignment was simple: make a film. It didn’t matter what or how, just that we were directing actors. I took an old short story of mine and adapted it into a short-film script. This is one of the few projects that I can confidently say is entirely my own vision. There was no other writers or directors, I undertook all pre and post-production work, and created something that really stuck to my initial concept.

One of my favorite aspects of the production process was all the fun posters, thumbnails, design and “marketing” pieces I got to create from scratch that really went hand-in-hand with the tone of the short.
