The bulk of my 3 years at Nostalgic Video Games was spent as Social Media Manager. I launched our YouTube channel which achieved monetization in less than a year, and has since garnered over 4,000 subscribers.
On top of entertaining and informational content, I ran our social media pages, managing our day-to-day product posts and advertising.
I also managed our vintage toy room, buying/selling of vintage toys, and retail responsibilities. Lots of graphic design work went into my time at Nostalgic and a bulk of my favorites (and some of my not so favorites) are here
Our YouTube channel, where almost every video was written, produced, and edited by me. Graphic Design (pfp/banner) a collaboration between me and Nostalgic Video Games owner.
Nostalgic Video Games Instagram, ran mostly by me. Daily posts/restocks as well as news, events, and ads!

I really wanted to include the storefront in a lot of our channel's content, and where better to feature it than on the front banner of our profile! The owner had come up with the slogan and wanted it incorporated in most materials, and we collaborated on the best text formatting.

BUMPER STICKER! I had a ton of fun doing these up and it is SO cool to be driving around Florence Kentucky and seeing a car with this slapped on the back. That's my design!!

Logo for our old "Vintage Toy Room" that is now more of a "Vintage Toy SIDE" of the store! Loved making the N64 into an X-Wing that carried over the control button scheme!

Simplified logo design for use as a profile pic on social media that still incorporated all of our colors.

Transparent background logo design

Sticker/T-Shirt design ideas based on the simplified logo.

Simplified logo that features our full name and not the shortened "NVG"

Arcade T-Shirt design! Absolutely love this nostalgia-fueled 70s psychedelia concert poster vibe!

The back of the T-shirt design featuring a list of the arcade cabinets our arcade featured its opening weekend.

Our lineup! These are featured on the outside doors and near the interior entrance to the arcade.

Main image for a podcast concept me and my coworker worked on for awhile.

Some arcade logo designs I mocked up trying to retain our recognizable logo while prominently featuring "arcade". Ultimately, this design wasn't used, but I still very much enjoy it even if it didn't make it past the rough concept phase.

An ad campaign I wanted to push that featured retro games as "relics"

We had these stickers available for awhile based on a goofy series of Tiktoks we made.

A "Metal Logo" design I made for fun shortly after joining the team at Nostalgic. About two years after making this it came up in conversation with the owner, who ended up LOVING it! We made limited edition T-shirts featuring this logo in white on black. Making the N64 controller into a pentagram was probably my favorite part.

One of my favorite thumbnails from my time running Nostalgic Video Games YouTube. Something about the colors and easy composition makes it super catching.

Another one of my favorite thumbnails for a video essay about how Nintendo Gamecube games are increasing in value while decreasing in quantity.

A lot of my controller videos featured my face as that is a general rule of thumb for YouTube thumbnails, but I love these product shot thumbnails, and the manufacturers did too! My controller videos ended up getting us a few sponsorships and even some new brand deals and distributors!

Always important to clean your cartridges!

A social media ad I made to promote an in-store event!

Early tag designed after an N64 cartridge. NVG's YouTube was originally called "Nostalgic Network" before we homogenized our brand all under the "Nostalgic Video Games" name.

"Nigel the Nostalgi-gator" mascot concept. Made lots of designs for this guy, settling here. Ultimately, the owner decided to go in a different direction.

A whole series of banners I designed that currently hang in-store at Nostalgic to direct customers to each system's section. Each features a prominent and recognizable character as well as a relevant background.

A banner I made featuring some of the toy-lines we buy and sell (was made before the Nostalgic Toy Room Logo)
